Gum Grafting (Gum recession)

There are many causes to gum recession. Receding gums may be caused by brushing too hard, gum disease, thin gums, trauma or orthodontic treatment.

Gum grafting is a common treatment for patients who have root exposure or thin gums prior orthodontic treatment.  Dr Paul Tsai will discuss the different types of surgery available and the best coarse of treatment for each individual patient.
